- Graduates at the University of Law in Zagreb, in 1984. (Rector's prize in 1982.)
- Bar exam - 1986.
Professional experience:
- In 1989. Silvije Hraste establishes an independent law office as the successor of the law office of Vjekoslav Hraste, Silvije's late father. Law office has grown into the law firm Hraste & Partners. Law firm is an authorized patent representative before the State Intellectual Property Institute and World Intellectual Property Organization. Silvije is as well the member of: AIPPI (Intellectual Agency for Intellectual property Protection) and INTA (International Trademark Protection Agency). Silvije Hraste is involved in various social and culture arrangements: a member of the board of St.Moritz Art Masters, founder and principal secretary of „Ars Croatica“, perennial participant of the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington (gathering of notables under sponsorship of United States Congress), and the founder of Small Prayer Group – a group of Croatian notables participating in the National Prayer Breakfast.
